Install in a minute
- 1Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download free.
- 2Open the downloaded file. The phone will ask whether to allow installs from this source: allow it and go back.
- 3Tap Install. If Google Play Protect warns about an unknown app, choose Install anyway.
- 4Connect the phone to the Starlink Wi-Fi, turn off mobile data for a moment and open Starlink Monitor. It finds the dish by itself.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the app really free?
- Yes, dish monitoring and the speed test are free, with no ads and no account. Dish control (reboot, stow, snow melt and more) is being prepared as a subscription.
- What data does the app send?
- It reads dish data directly from the dish on your local network and does not send it anywhere. It connects to the internet only to check for new versions on our website (sending only the installed version number) and for the speed test when you start it yourself (Cloudflare servers).
- Why is it not on Google Play?
- For now we publish it directly ourselves. Every version is signed with our key, so only an app from us can install an update.
- Does it work on iPhone?
- Not yet; the app is only for Android 7 and later.
- Is this an official Starlink app?
- No. Starlink Monitor is developed by NextSupport s.r.o. and is not affiliated with SpaceX. Starlink is a trademark of SpaceX.
